GAMA training for our Thai partners

The IRD and CTU teams shared their knowledge on the GAMA platform with the NSTDA partner at the occasion of a training in Bangkok from 21st to 23rd August 2023.

GAMA is an easy-to-use open source modeling and simulation environment for creating spatially explicit agent-based simulations. It will be one of the software used to create the Virtual Universes of the project. The models studied during the training concerned evacuation management during urban flooding. What skill would you like to acquire? 📚👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

Context SIMPLE is a project co-funded by the European Union that aims to explore the value of virtual reality (VR) in raising young people’s awareness of sustainable development challenges. The project is based on the design of teaching methods using combinations of serious games, scientific models and VR activities, conceived in cooperation with educational players in four countries (Cambodia, Vietnam, Lao PDR and Thailand). ÉVEIL Project Conducts School Visits Ahead of its Official Implementation
