The SIMPLE Project participated in France-Vietnam Forward 2026, held on 15th October 2026 at the Caravelle Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Organised by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), the event brought together the French Tech Summit and the Job & Education Fair, and marked the closing of the France-Vietnam Innovation Year.

At the SIMPLE booth, visitors were invited to experience two Virtual Universes (VUs) including Operation Zero Waste and Fleuves. The demonstration illustrated how immersive technology can support sustainability education by making it more interactive and engaging for learners.

The booth also served as an opportunity to present the SIMPLE VR Contest to students, educators, and innovators. Discussions with visitors focused on the opportunities the VR Contest offers young people to team up and develop their own Virtual Universes on sustainability topics.

SIMPLE would like to thank CCIFV and the event organisers for their support, and all participants who visited the booth and shared their feedback and ideas.

Registration for the SIMPLE VR Contest 2026 is open until 20th November 2026. Further information is available at contest.project-simple.eu.
