Following the teacher’s workshop held in Hanoi in July 2025, which gathered French teachers from schools labeled FrancEducation International (FEI), the EVEIL team organized a follow-up meeting with school administrators and French-speaking teachers at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School to further discuss the project’s implementation. The meeting was attended by representatives from SCAC (French Embassy’s Service for Cooperation and Cultural Actions), Institut Français and IRD.

In July, the workshop successfully identified solid waste management and recycling as the central theme to be explored through the Mission Zero Plastic Module, a VR game aiming at promoting sustainable development awareness and strengthening French language proficiency among students.

Building on these outcomes, the meeting at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School revealed strong enthusiasm from school administrators and teachers for the project. They proposed implementing the game in March and April 2026, as this timeframe aligns with their curriculum’s focus on sustainable development topics.

During the meeting, participants also experienced VR games developed under the SIMPLE project. This provided practical insights into how immersive tools can enhance student engagement in the classroom, in addition to discussing the VR game theme and learning scenarios for EVEIL.
